The latest news I know is that a select group of CCDEs were invited to the first Architect Board Exam. Two of the candidates were successful and have been awarded the CCArch (seems to be a new acronym for this one) cert.

I just checked the Cisco Learning Network page for the CCArch program and there does not appear to be any information about future board review dates. I heard from another CCDE who is pursuing the CCArch cert that figuring out how to apply is quite a task in itself! :)
